A competition entry for a redesign of a central plaza set by the water.

In this design, our team took the notion of tactility as the starting point, using natural wood and stone surfaces as much as possible. The plaza was additionally stretched on top of the water with small platforms to allow fishing - a common activity at the site - increasing the felt presence of the water.

A stage was situated at the northern end of the plaza, allowing it to be seen from the whole area including the terraces.
